Beginner - Advanced Level
In our 1:1 Math Tutoring sessions, your child will experience personalized and engaging learning tailored to their individual needs. With a focus on creating a supportive and structured environment, each session will delve into targeted math topics aligned with your child's curriculum or areas requiring improvement. Through interactive problem-solving, clear explanations, and guided practice, I aim to enhance understanding, boost confidence, and foster a positive attitude towards mathematics. The sessions are designed to accommodate various learning styles, ensuring an enriching and enjoyable experience for learners aged 7 to 15 years of age. While structured as a continuous course, this class is flexible and accommodates one-time meetings for targeted assignment assistance or can serve as an ongoing tutoring program for as many weeks as necessary. If you have inquiries or require a specific unlisted time, please don't hesitate to contact me, and I'll respond promptly to meet your needs. I can teach the following topics: Grade level mathematics up to Grade 8 (place value, number operations, money, time, data, geometry, fractions, decimals, exponents, problem solving) Algebra 1 Algebra 2

Learning Needs
Structured, visual sessions with clear instructions. Incorporate breaks for movement, use visual aids, and simplify complex problems into manageable steps for optimal focus and engagement.
Parental Guidance
Depending on the needs of the learner, third party tools may be used (as described below). Khan Academy is a tool that can be used to track student progress and a parent can choose to create an account for their child to save their progress.
Accounts will not be required for the other tools- students can join simply with their first name or it will be shared on the screen.
Pre-Requisites
If you're uncertain about your learner's specific needs, during our initial session, I'll provide math tasks to evaluate your student's skills and determine areas for focus.
