📘 Class Description: 1:1 Math Tutoring: Grades 1–3 - Addition, Subtraction & More! In this highly interactive 1:1 math class, young learners will build a strong foundation in addition and subtraction through engaging lessons, hands-on activities, and personalized instruction. This class is perfect for students in Grades 1–3 who need support, enrichment, or a confidence boost in their math skills. Each session is designed to spark curiosity, develop problem-solving abilities, and encourage mathematical thinking using real-life examples, games, and technology. Learners will work through math strategies using number lines, manipulatives, and visual aids to help them understand and enjoy math. 📚 Class Experience: This class is designed to be interactive, supportive, and fun! Students will explore key addition and subtraction concepts through: Live interactive teaching 1–2 targeted worksheets per session to reinforce learning Real-life word problems and games to deepen understanding Hands-on models and digital math tools (like Polypad and GeoGebra) Student-led problem-solving and discussion We will use a student-centered approach that blends demonstrations, problem-solving, and active participation. Students are encouraged to ask questions, share their thinking, and engage in visual and tactile learning experiences. Learning Goals
By the end of the first lesson, students will be able to use number lines as a visual tool to solve addition problems.
By the end of the third lesson, students will be able to add two or more numbers without carrying.

Pre-Requisites
No prior experience is required. This class is designed for Grade 2 students who are ready to explore subtraction, with a focus on numbers up to 100. Familiarity with basic counting is helpful but not necessary.
Supply List
Students will need a notebook and a pencil for the class. All other materials, including interactive worksheets, will be provided. No additional supplies are required. If needed, any specialized resources or tools (like Polypad or GeoGebra) will be used during the class and will be accessible online.
