In this weekly writing class, we will explore different modes of writing, such as personal narrative, persuasive writing, and perspective writing. There will be a mini lesson on how to compose each type of writing and important information to include. We will work through examples as a class and then have time for students to practice creating their own piece. Students can share their work with the class for editing an revising suggestions. 

Students are encouraged to have a separate notebook for class where they can jot down topic ideas and write their compositions down. They may also use programs on their own devices to type stories.
