BURRRRRR!!!! Winter Circle time is frozen fun for ages 3-5. This circle time includes literacy, math, science, fine arts and social and emotional learning. We will welcome each child with a song, use our snowman feelings chart to identify how we feel, talk about the weather where you are, share our favorite winter items in Winter Show and Tell to grow vocabulary, explore "snow" and read a good book called, "A Snowy Day", by Ezra Keats. This is a live 45 minute class with 2-6 students, using props, video, slides and winter themed music and movement. This is for the child who loves to explore, dance and sing and have fun while learning.

Children will listen to the read aloud of "A Snowy Day",by Ezra Keats and identify winter words together.Children will be able to name and/or count winter items that we eat, wear and see in the winter.其他詳情
先決條件
Ask your little one to pick a favorite winter item from around your home to bring to class. It could be a cozy scarf, hat, gloves, stuffed animal, book, decoration, or a hot cocoa mug. We will take a moment to share and make connections.

A winter item your child selects to share with class; a scarf, gloves, hat, a favorite winter decoration, book or stuffed animal. I will provide snowman feelings chart, slides, video, "SNOW", and book for our time together. Come even if you haven’t found anything to bring! A piece of white paper for a “snowball”. For exploration AFTER our class (optional): Marshmallows or cotton balls for building a snowman Water or glue for snowman building What can you use around your house for a snowman face, arms? What else can you add? Paper plates for "ice skating"

I have celebrated each of the seasons with children in my Pre K/Head Start classes for over 20 years. Children love to talk about winter and experience it, even if it sometimes means bringing the outside, INSIDE! We try to go outside every day where we can take learning anywhere it can happen.
