This spring-themed circle time will use the topic of flowers to teach literacy and pre-literacy skills, math, science, social-emotional learning, music, and art. We will sing a welcome song where I will welcome each child by name, discuss springtime and flowers, sing songs, read the classic children's book The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle, and reinforce our story with engaging activities. My teaching style is fun, engaging, and highly interactive. I also always like to give my learners and their families the option of additional activities they can do after class to reinforce what they have learned, so additional resources will be provided after the class.
