Both new and experienced students familiar with my regular Wings of Fire Dragon art workshops will enjoy this special workshop where we unlock our imagination to create a special Wings of Fire masterpiece in poster and/or book cover format. This class builds on the drawing sketching technique in my regular Wings of Fire class to also include coloring techniques and add our individual flair to make a unique character! Dragons can seem like complicated things to draw, but it's easier than you...
Students will learn a step-by-step process based on basic shapes that will let them continue drawing their own dragons well past just this class, as well as how to apply color simply and effectively. These techniques can also be applied to other live subject matter.
Minimum supplies needed for this class are paper, pencil (with sharpener where necessary) and eraser. It is highly recommended that students have some form of coloring supplies in at least a few colors (the more available the better!). These can be colored pencils, crayons, markers, watercolor paints, or whatever your student would most like to use for coloring. I do recommend that you specifically use watercolor paper when using watercolors.
