Welcome to Wild Cat Diary! Travel to different continents and document your learning with fun writing assignments. Earn a specific cat bookmark for each cat! Complete a continent and you will earn a Wild Cat Researcher badge on your passport and a Wild Cat Researcher Certificate for the specific continent! Earn all badges and receive an Ultimate Wild Cat Researcher Certificate! 

You will learn about the wild cats around the world! With the help of a slideshow including fun multiple-choice questions and pictures, we will discuss facts about one cat each week. I will share information such as continent, habitat, markings, special adaptations, sounds, endangered status, and even some history. I encourage students to share what they may already know and/or what they are hoping to learn. 

Passports: Passports are a place to keep all your earned badges, but also all your assignments as a record of all the amazing felines in the world.
Printable: Passports can be made with pencil/paper or by using the printable found on the classroom page after enrollment. Passports are a place to keep the badges you earn. Each badge is printable.

Assignment: Students have a choice of 3 writing assignments each week. Two are always to take on one of the roles in the world of wild and big cats for a nonfiction piece or step into the paws of the wild cat for a narrative piece. The third option varies from week to week. Another option is given for students to submit their own idea to showcase the cat of the week.
