美國等級 9 - 12
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a concentration in Comparative Politics, which provided me with a comprehensive understanding of political and historical subjects pertaining to past and present civilizations across the globe. Additionally, I have completed a Masters of Education in Secondary Social Sciences, specializing in history and political science. I am certified by the state of Alabama to teach social sciences to students in grades 7-12. With over four years of teaching experience in world history and 20 years of research in world history and its politics, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom.

As part of my commitment to fostering a comprehensive understanding of the wars and battles we study, optional analysis questions are available for learners who wish to deepen their engagement with the course material. These analysis questions serve as a tool to encourage critical thinking and reflection. If you would like to further explore the topics we discuss or delve into specific aspects of the wars and battles covered, you may request the optional analysis questions. These questions provide an opportunity to apply your knowledge, analyze different perspectives, and develop a deeper understanding of the historical events. Upon completing the analysis questions, you can request feedback from the instructor. Feedback will be provided to assist you in your learning journey, offering insights, suggestions, and further discussion points. This feedback aims to enhance your comprehension and analytical skills, ultimately contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. Please note that the analysis questions and feedback are optional, and their availability is based on individual student preferences. Feel free to let me know if you would like to receive the analysis questions or if you have any specific areas of interest you would like to explore further.

In this course, I acknowledge that certain topics we discuss, such as war, weapons, anti-Semitic policies, genocide, and persecution, are politically sensitive and require careful handling. I understand the importance of presenting this information in an age-appropriate manner, considering the context of the issues and the state of the world at the respective time periods.

My approach to teaching these politically sensitive topics is rooted in sensitivity, empathy, and responsible education. I strive to provide historical context and a comprehensive understanding of these events while considering the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of our learners.

Throughout the course, I take great care to present the information in a manner that is suitable for the age group of learners. I ensure that the content is delivered in a respectful and thoughtful manner, emphasizing the historical significance, consequences, and lessons learned from these events.

By providing appropriate context and fostering open discussions, I create a safe and inclusive learning environment where learners can engage with these sensitive topics. I encourage learners to ask questions, share their thoughts, and express their opinions while maintaining a respectful and empathetic dialogue.

If you have any concerns or questions about the approach to politically sensitive topics covered in the course, please do not hesitate to reach out.
