In each ongoing, weekly, 30 minute class, we will go through video editing effects and/or practice editing videos that you can use for the videos that you are creating. 

These ongoing classes DO NOT build on each other, so students are able to enroll and attend when available.

Students may use Final Cut Pro, or iMovie for this course. These are the editing software that I am skilled in and can provide help with. iMovie is a free download on Apple products. Final Cut Pro has a free 90-day trial on Apple products.

PARENTAL GUIDANCE: iMovie and Final Cut Pro are a user-friendly movie storage and editing program that comes standard on Mac computers, and is also available to download on iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. Users can tag, sort, and organize their recorded media, as well as edit video and audio using an assortment of customization tools. Options in iMovie and Final Cut Pro include cutting and isolating individual scenes, stabilizing shaky camera work, or inserting graphics, text and transition effects. iMovie is an excellent introductory editing program with a light amount of options and easy to use design, making the program recommended for users ages 8 and up.
