In this twenty-five minute class, students will have fun running around their homes searching for Valentine's Day-themed items. I will present the item and a picture and students will try and find the object. They will then show everyone their items before moving to the next item on the list. Before we begin the scavenger hunt, each student will get a chance to tell everyone what is their favorite thing about Valentine's Day. At the end of the class, each student will receive a Scavenger Hunt Valentine's Day badge. Some items that will be included in the Scavenger Hunt are: flowers, hearts, something red, Valentine's Day cards, Cupid, chocolate, lollipops, teddy bear, jewelry, and more!

Welcome parents and students!
My name is Erica Roberts and I am a certified elementary school teacher. I love teaching different topics to elementary and middle school aged children, especially reading, writing, and grammar! I
also love a variety of nonacademic topics like Harry Potter, cake decorating, dinosaurs, sports, sea animals, and so much more!
I have a Masters Degree in Elementary Education K-6, a Bachelors in English K-12, and I am also a certified ESL teacher. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders for the last five years.
In addition to being a classroom teacher, I have been a camp counselor, youth football coach, high school basketball and track coach, and a personal fitness trainer for many years!
I love teaching and learning, which makes doing this job so much fun and rewarding. I believe that all learning should be engaging and relevant, which is why I like to center my classes around topics students find interesting.
