Tutus and Jazz Shoes is a wonderful Introduction to both Ballet and Jazz Dance for young learners. Class will consist of a 5 minute "getting to know you", 15 minutes of Ballet and 15 minutes of Jazz. Class will begin with a brief warm up and stretch working up to splits and straddles. Ballet technique will include the five Ballet positions, plies, relieves, tendu, arabesque, coupe, passé and achappe. Basic motor skills such as hopping, skipping and gallops will be addressed.
