- In this one time class, we will have fun socializing and playing fun games, while drawing and coloring. - The goal of this class is to have fun and encourage learners to be creative and express themselves freely. - Learners will have an opportunity to socialize and interact playing games and having open group discussions. What games will be played and how are games chosen? I will have a wheel with 15-20 games, I will spin the wheel several times throughout class to choose the games for the class to play. Games played will be fun interactive games that won't involve downloading or sharing personal information. Students may be asked to grab items from home to play but will not be required to share personal information. Game Examples: - Would you rather? - I Spy - Never Say Turkey - Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt - Turkey Stuffing 1-2-3 - How Many Turkeys do I See? AND SO MUCH MORE... I have a strict NO BULLYING rule. I think that it is extremely important for learners to have a safe space free from bullying and judgment. I expect learners to respect each other and be kind to their classmates at all times. I will not tolerate bullying in any form. However, I will give students a chance to correct their behavior. Below is a list of steps that I will take when unkind behavior is witnessed or heard. 1. Warning, Ex: I will remind the student that in my class, we must be kind to each other at all times. 2. I will put the student in the waiting room or a break out room and send a message or speak to them emphasizing the importance of being kind and warn that the next time that I have to speak to him/her/them, I will have to remove him/her/them. I will then, allow them to return to class and give a chance to change the behavior. 3. Removal from class ( there will be no refund or transfer to another class). A message will be sent to parents detailing the behavior witnessed or heard.

Driven by her passion for teaching, Miss Brandy set out to build an academy that blends fun with learning, using a teaching style that empowers students to come to class confident they can be themselves without judgment. Over the years, she has been fortunate to teach students from around the world, with diverse backgrounds and learning abilities, all of whom have shaped and enriched her approach.
At Miss Brandy’s Academy, each educator is truly unique and brings their own amazing strengths, insights, and enthusiasm to every class.
