Academic Goals: Students will write a five sentence opinion paragraph. Students will review and apply the writing process.
Life Skill Goals:  Students will practice following verbal and written instructions.  Students will also learn how to be courteous in a group discussion.

Students have one assignment.  They are to finish the paragraph they planned in class by completing the planning brainstorm, rough draft, and initial revision.  These are usually completed during class. Students who wish proofreading feedback from Miss Amy should submit a final draft to her through the Outschool interface within 24 hours of the class.  The student will receive encouraging feedback through the Outschool interface within 24 hours.

Students who have written paragraphs before may expect to spend under 30 minutes on the assignment.
