段落寫作簡介 - 學習如何撰寫主題句和細節

Welcome! In this class students will learn the basics of paragraph writing! We will discuss the parts of a paragraph including the topic sentence, supporting details, and a the concluding sentence. The teacher will related paragraph writing as parts of a delicious hamburger. She will then model how to brainstorm ideas and how to turn your ideas into well-written detailed sentences. Then students will have time to brainstorm and write their own paragraph. Students will be able to share their paragraph and teacher will provide tips on how to improve writing along the way. If time allows, students can illustrate their writing at the end of class.  This class is perfect for students who can write simple sentences and are ready for the next step in their writing.
