The Penderwicks Book Clubs can be taken consecutively or not; however, some parts from previous books in the series may be mentioned. -------------------- The Penderwicks Book Club 3 (The Penderwicks at Point Mouette) will bring to life the characters in the book, by discussing the main ideas, sharing opinions, learning to summarize, and drawing pictures. This book has 17 chapters. We will cover about 2 chapters in each class. Before day 1, read Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. Day 1: We will...
Gain confidence in sharing opinions, listening to others' opinions, being respectful of others' opinions, discussing the Penderwicks together, and learning how to be creative in capturing what was read into drawings like children's illustrators must do.
The Penderwicks series by Jeanne Birdsall is my all-time favourite book series! I have read the whole series and some of the books I have re-read a few times: therefore, I am the perfect person to do a book club for this book because I can share my love of this book and author with others.
