Run run as fast as you can....get away from the lava, Gingerbread Man! The Floor is Lava is a classic game that gets children up and moving! You can play the Floor is Lava a hundred different ways! What if the lava finds it's away into a holiday story? Come move with us and help the Gingerbread Man get away from the lava! I always like to start class with show and tell. Children are welcome to bring something to share or tell us something fun! This allows some social time getting to know each other. Sharing is completely optional as I want everyone to feel comfortable. Children will move to a Floor is Lava song to become familiar with the concept of the game. Then it's Gingerbread Man time! I will narrate a varied version of the story that includes lava! Children will be absolutely fascinated with this story and will be encouraged to act the story along with me! Children will feel empowered that they can participate in the story and game no matter their age or skill. This class will encourage confidence, empowerment, and pure holiday joy! What a fun and different way to celebrate the holidays and get some exercise too! The goal of class is to have your child happy and smiling ☺️

Children will need a space to move around and dance. The space should be free of object on the floor or anything they can bump into. This is to avoid injuries or falls.They will need appropriate shoes (no sandals, flip flops or heels). They also need a bottle of water.
