It's time to get our creative juices flowing through one of our favorite games, Adopt Me! This class will get learners excited about writing because they get to write about something they love!  Learner are also welcome to write about another game or anything else they'd like! 

Class will always begin with 20 minutes of creative writing. Learners will have several options on what to write:

-They can free write whatever comes to mind. Free writing emphasizes just getting your thoughts on paper, without concentration on grammar or punctuation.

-I will provide an Adopt Me themed writing prompt. An example of a prompt is: "A group of pig pets decide to have a pizza party. What happens at the party?"

-They can write about another video game. I will think of a prompt for that game if they would like. 

-If they are working on a story, I will encourage them to continue working on that project. 


The Adopt Me server will be closed during writing time. After 20 minutes of writing, learners are welcome to log into our private Adopt Me server. They can also keep writing if they'd like. I will provide an Adopt Me challenge for everyone to work on. Examples of challenges are:

-I will give everyone an egg and we will have a hatching challenge. 
-I will give everyone a pet and we will have a aging challenge.
-A building challenge.
-An obby challenge.
-So much more!

Every week, learners will receive an egg, pet, or another item based on their request or the current Adopt Me update!

During gameplay, learners are also welcome to share their creative writing piece. Sharing is completely optional but we would love to hear all of the creative ideas!

*Depending on how much learners have to share, the class may run over the allotted time.

**Learners are welcome to send me their creative writing pieces if they would like assistance with grammar, punctuation, or other constructive suggestions. This is not a requirement.


Additionally, learners can participate in 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗼𝗻-𝗠𝗲𝗴𝗮 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝗼𝗻-𝗠𝗲𝗴𝗮 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 is an exclusive project for my enrolled Adopt Me learners. Here is how it works:

𝟭. The game is personalized for each learner in the class.
𝟮. Each learner gets a choice of 3 different pets they would like to have.
𝟯.Once the learner chooses a pet, they will receive 3 of the same pets.
𝟰. During and after class, they can take as much time as they would like to grow up their pets.
𝟱. Once they grow up 3 of the pets, I will provide them with a 4th fully grown pet. They can then make their neon.
𝟲.Once they complete their neon, they can chose a different pet to make a new neon, or they can have 3 more of the same pet to continue and continue to make a Mega.

This challege happens at the learners own pace whenever they feel like playing Adopt Me!
