I studied all styles of dance beginning at age five and attended dance conventions from some of the top teachers and choreographers in the industry.  I enjoyed tap dancing for my talent presentation in the Miss North Dakota Scholarship pageant program, winning the talent award at various local contests and on the state level.
I taught all styles of dance to all ages for over fifteen years at dance studios, park and rec programs, and independently.  My speciality quickly became preschoolers and I also developed a dance class experience for parents and toddlers to enjoy together in 2006 when I was seven months pregnant with my second child who is currently studying with the School of American Ballet in New York City.  
I have attended the Dancer Teachers Summit in New York City, taking classes and seminars with some of the top children's dance teachers in the country.  I am fortunate to have access to a vibrant arts community in New York City which constantly inspires my teaching.
