Markham School of Dance was established in October 2001. Offering dance classes including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Modern, and Musical Theatre as well as performing arts in acting and vocal training. 

We offer 5 main programs: Dance Stars for ages 2-5, FUNdations for Grades 1-12, Dance Intensive Examination program for Grades 1-12, Dance Company - Performance Team, Performing Arts program for Musical Theatre, Acting and Vocal.  We offer an International Performance Program every 2-3 years giving students the opportunity to perform internationally. And have trained many students for obtaining their teachers certifications with various dance associations.

We want to be sure that students develop their dance skills and have lots of fun doing it. Our goal is that all students will leave their classes with a smile!

FAQs: 

*What is the policy for refunds? 
Limited Refund Policy - full refund up to a week in advance or within 24 hours of purchase. Within the week students can be moved to a different time of the same program if applicable or video recordings of the class will be available that you can watch through Outschool on your own schedule.   

*What happens if the teacher cancels the class? 
If in event of the rare situation that the teacher has to cancel the class, the class will be rescheduled. If you cannot attend the class that has been reschedule a video of the class will be provided for you to view. 

*What happens if there is not enough students to run the class?
You will be notified if you are the only learner in the class within 48 hours before the class begins. The class may be postponed by a week, students can change to a different time within the same class or can opt for a full refund.  

* Can I register for a class that is not in my child's age range?
If you are interested in registering for a class that is outside of your child's age range then we do ask that you contact the studio to confirm if that would be suitable. If you register for a class outside of your age range without confirming with the studio you will be unenroled and refunded.
