This class will meet once a week, on going, as needed. Communication between teacher and parent will determine the specific area of focus in the subject areas of Phonics, Reading, Language Arts and Math concepts. Individualized lessons will be created for specific areas of focus. Lessons will include direct instruction, guided practice, and games to reinforce concepts taught. I am an experienced Elementary school teacher, not only as a classroom teacher, but in Reading and Math Intervention and Special Education. I have a B.A. in Elementary Education, a M.Ed. in Counseling and Guidance and certification in Language Development. I am dedicated to to help my students discover their full learning potential, with patient and positive encouragement. I want students to see that learning can to be fun and engaging.
