課堂經歷
In this multi-day class, students will make easy and fun crafts with common craft supplies. Note: This class will be taught in English and Spanish and it is suitable for students who speak one or both languages. In each class, we will work on a specific craft. First, I will show you a finished craft sample. Then, we will make sure we have all the supplies while showing them and naming them in Spanish. Then, we will work together on the craft. I will explain each step, and we will all work together. At the end of the class, everyone will share their masterpiece! I will send you a list with all the supplies required for the week, and this list will include a breakdown of supplies by day. We will use supplies that you likely have at home already or are easy to find. Note: Some crafts will require printing a template, which I will post in the classroom prior to the class. My classes are limited to five students, so that each one will have an equal opportunity to practice and receive timely correction. I am a native Spanish speaker and an ELE (Spanish as a Foreign Language) certified teacher. I am an energetic, friendly, and patient teacher. My puppet friends (Pancho, Beto, Lucía, and Moño) and I can't wait to meet you, practise our Spanish, and create fun crafts with you!

¡Hola! My name is Profesora Mary, and I am excited to help your child learn Spanish.
I truly love working with children with my puppet friends: Pancho, Beto, Moño, and Lucía. Your child will love learning Spanish — at their pace — while playing games and singing songs with me and my friends. Your child will also have fun through my use of many props, including puffy animals, toys and more.
My ultimate goal when I teach is to make sure that my students obtain the skills to communicate in Spanish. I do this while making sure that my students have fun while learning. My class activities help students connect the learning material to their own world, facilitating language acquisition.
Teaching and learning languages are two of my passions. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to combine them and make them my profession. There is no other job that I could enjoy more, and I love to share my enthusiasm and energy with students in my classes.
I have worked very hard to be a qualified teacher, and I have achieved this through online and in-person teaching experience and by obtaining a number of certificates related to language instruction and teaching young learners. I am a certified ELE (Español como Lengua Extranjera - Spanish as a Foreign Language) Teacher and a native Spanish speaker.
I am a mom and some of my hobbies include learning languages, making crafts and playing the flute.
