I love teaching study skills, note taking and time management. I have come to realize that it would be helpful to offer a weekly class that concentrates on a specific strategy. Each class will stand on its own, so while it would be wonderful to see the students weekly, it will also be set up so that students can come to the class they feel are the strategies that will help them the most. I have been helping students with study skills for years. I am very passionate that study skills and note taking are very important to being successful throughout one's education. I have worked in many different classrooms, and with many teachers. The teachers do a great job at teaching, but unfortunately they have little time to really devote to teaching study skills and note taking. I am so happy to have the opportunity to fill in that gap with Outschool, and teach these skills to students.
Pen and paper at each class. If something specific is needed for a class I will let the class know in plenty of time.
