This is a 6 week course that will meet once per week.The class will begin with an introduction of myself and fellow students and inquire the artistic goals of each student. The first two classes will cover Still Life drawing. I will post the image we will be drawing on the class page a day before class meets. We will draw objects using highlight, mid-tone, core shadow, reflected light, proportion, and various other techniques. The next two classes will cover Figure Drawing.We will practice...

Graphite pencils, blending tool(Q-tip, blending stub, napkin, paint brush), sketch paper, kneaded eraser or plain eraser, ruler. A printer or digital copy of the portrait and Still life image ( I will attach the images to the class discussion page)
