課堂經歷
This course is for complete beginners and covers the basic rules of the game. Students will be introduced to each piece and how it moves and get a chance to practise puzzles and exercises to master each piece. Towards the end of the course students will learn about the goal of the game - checkmate - and get to practise simple checkmate puzzles. Each class is 45 minutes and consists of a summary of the previous lesson's topic, an introduction to the new topic, practise puzzles where every student will have multiple opportunities to test their new skills, and time for questions and discussion. The classes are highly interactive and students are always encouraged to ask questions.
