課堂經歷
In this Ongoing class for beginners, students will learn the basics of the Spanish language simple, easy and fun. We will practice the pronunciation as a group and then I will ask each student to repeat the word after me, giving the students individual attention and meeting their level. It will be a bilingual class English/Spanish. Each week there will be a different set of words and sentences, that will help them create conversations with their classmates encouraging them to build confidence as they speak. The material will be sent the day before the class and includes the vocabulary and grammar along with an audio with the pronunciation to help students practice before or after class. If a student can not attend a class, the audio will provide all the tools to practice the concepts and the pronunciation taught during each class. *****CLASS RECORDING POLICY : I do not share recordings of my group classes in order to protect the privacy of all learners ( many parents do not feel comfortable with other families having access to videos that include their child). However, you are welcome to watch and help your child, OFF SCREEN, to comply with Outschool Policy, so that you can also have access to the content. Week of September 11th: Hola, How are you?, What is your name? Week of September 18th: What can you find at home?. Week of September 18th: Family members Week of September 25th: Where is everyone? I / Parts of the house Week of October 2nd:Where is everyone? II/ Places around town Week of October 9th: Food and Fruits Week of October 16th: Farm animals Week of October 23rd : How many animals can you see?/ Numbers 20-29 Week of October 30th: How are you feeling today? During my College years, I worked for a language company in Colombia (CIL), I was trained by the owner in a conversational teaching method to teach ESL and Spanish to foreigners. It was a great opportunity to learn hands on how to teach others to communicate in other languages, how to teach children both in English and Spanish and how to be a bridge of knowledge in every subject that I was Certified in. It was such a wonderful experience that I kept working for them for more than 8 years giving me vast training in handling English and Spanish classes, I now use that experience and the fact that I am a native Spanish speaker to share what I know with children and to help them cope with anxiety and stress through mindfulness.
Even though my mayor is in International Business, my passion is working with children and learning along the with them.評論
