課堂經歷
Soccer has taken the world by storm and some of the up-and-coming players have quite the stories. In this class students will read short biographies on some of the most prominent players in the game. While reading, we will pause to analyze the certain choices those players made and the experiences they had. We will also compare and discuss what we would have done had we been in those players shoes. Some of the players we might discuss: Kylian Mbappe Erling Haaland Christian Pulisic Yunus Musah Enzo Fernandez Romain Saiss and many more! The team will have a student-led discussion about the biggest biographies in world football. I will conduct the class and ensure that the discussion is free-flowing, appropriate, and fun! Watching each and every game is not necessary, but an added bonus. My goal is for everyone to be included in the conversation and learn something new from one another. Feel free to wear your favorite jersey! Some activities we may do in class are: Reading Discussion Trivia Ranking Players Discussing certain positions Discussing certain philosophies
學習目標
- Social and Discussion Skills: Students will be able to meet other students with a passion for soccer! In doing so, they will learn and practice conversational skills.
- Comprehension and Analysis: Students will be presented with a script and presentation of soccer players and be able to express their analysis of the same (and similar) players.
- Critical Thinking: Students will respond to comprehension questions relevant to prominent soccer players.其他詳情
