課堂經歷
This course is meant to be FUN! Students will start off with an introductions. If students have a Christmas themed toy such as Rudolph or Santa they can bring it to class and show it to their classmates. We will be making reindeer food together to leave out for Santa's reindeer. Students will get a special printable poem with instructions on what to do with it on Christmas Eve that the can attach to their reindeer food! (Supplies will included in supply list.) Next we will will listen to a Rudolph song that children can sing along to if they would like. Finally, we will read a Rudolph story together. During the story we will be doing actions and answering questions together. While we read children are welcome to color the Rudolph colouring page (that is provided after you register) or continue working on the reindeer food. *Please note that students of all abilities are welcome. Also, if a student does not want to speak during class then they do not have to. I like my classes to be comfortable for everyone.

1. Practice active listening skills by listening to the book and other student's show and tell time.
2. Practice speaking and interacting with the teacher and other students.
3. Use critical thinking to describe their show and tell item and to ask questions to other students.
4. Enjoy sensory time with coloring.
5. Use their memory during rhyme time.
6. Most importantly we will HAVE FUN with each other!

Reindeer Food Oatmeal Christmas Rice Krispie's (or other cereal) Bread crumb Glitter (Red, White, Green or your favorite colors.) Colored Christmas Sprinkles Ziplock Bag (Sandwich Size) Colouring materials and the provided colouring page! *If you do not have all of the ingredients that is okay! You are welcome to bring as much or as little as you have available. Feel free to use your imagination and add extra ingredients as well!

Welcome!
When students are interested in what they are doing, learning they will WANT to learn! I hope that your students will love to learn and become lifelong learners. I want all children to feel comfortable, engaged, encouraged and have fun in my classes I have worked with students from ages 0-14 for over 20 years. I have held several other jobs than teaching which I adored but at this point this is my passion.
My teaching experience comes from multiple sources. Online I have taught thousands of children overseas to learn English through VIPKid. VIPKid (now VIPTeacher) is known for their vigorous standards and training. I have also taught for an elite online program, called Synthesis. Synthesis is an elite program created by the one of the founders of Ad Astra. (Ad Astra is the school that Elon Musk created at SpaceX.) I have also taught thousands of children right here on Outschool since 2020.
Offline teaching experience comes from teaching at a Montessori pre-school, teaching swim and gym classes, summer camps and Sunday school. I also have taught students with a wide range of mental and physical abilities. All students are welcome in my classes and I am willing to make accommodations if requested.
My education consists of a BA in psychology, a BA in Conflict Resolution, TESL, TEOFL, over 40 online teaching certificates, mental health first aid certification, and palliative care certification.
I have two children who are everything to me. I homeschool them and we love going on adventures together. In my spare time I love travelling, baking, camping, Disney, swimming, the beach, water activities, working out, reading and all things full of sparkle and glitter! You can always find me taking a course or earning some kind of certificate.
