In this class all about reptiles, we will explore some of the most unique and incredible reptiles found all around the world and use LIVE ANIMALS to demonstrate amazing characteristics about reptiles. Each session in this multiday class will focus on reptiles from a particular continent. We will discuss physical and behavioral adaptations of each species to learn how they survive in their particular habitat. We will also discuss life cycles, parent-offspring relationships, diet, and...
Students will understand the characteristics that reptiles share. Students will identify physical and behavioral adaptations of various reptiles and understand how they benefit that species in its ecosystem. Students will be familiar with basic natural history information of various reptile species.
