This weekly ongoing class is a private section of one-on-one Reading Remediation for students in 3rd-5th grades (or ages 8-12). I will use research-proven Brain Based instructional strategies to help students who are struggling with Reading Comprehension and Fluency. I am here to help your child grow their Reading Skills with solid instruction in a caring and fun learning environment! I have been a teacher for 19 years, 16 of those years specifically teaching 3rd-5th grade Reading and ELA....

Students will improve their Sight Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, and Reading Fluency. Students' self confidence in Reading will increase due to growth from private tutoring.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and have been a teacher for 20 years. I specifically have taught 3rd-5th ELA for 16 years. I trained in Brain Based strategies for 5 years and utilized those strategies in my classroom for 9 years. Over the past 19 years, I have completed hundreds of hours of Professional Development and research in areas such as: Reading Intervention, Student Growth and Achievement, and Learning Disabilities.
