I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and a Master's Degree in Educational Technology. I hold a professional New York State teaching certificate in Music Education for K-12. Additionally, I have taught music in a public school district in Rochester, New York for over nine years. During this time, I've taught band, orchestra, and general music at both the elementary and secondary levels. I have over nine years of experience teaching all band instruments in elementary, middle, and high school including trumpet, trombone, clarinet, saxophone, flute, percussion, oboe, and tuba.
1. Instrument + necessary instrument supplies (i.e. reeds for clarinet/saxophone, valve oil for brass instruments) 2. Foldable music stand (these can be found on Amazon for under $20 or at your local music store) 3. Printer (to print the music we will be using in this trial lesson)
After taking this one-time class, if your learner would like to continue with weekly lessons, I will recommend lesson books and further materials based on your musician's skill level.
