Welcome to all witches and warlocks! In this class, students will create their own potion decorations for the Autumn season. Students will also create their own limerick to describe the function of their potion, or how it can be used. Students will learn about different types of poetry while they are crafting their potions, and be given the option to discuss where they have seen potions used in pop culture. I have an IDS BA in Modern Languages and Communication, Digital Media, and Communication. As a part of my college studies, I have taken courses in English. I have tutored students in English, as well as other subjects.
- A clear bottle. I recommend one that is around this size, as this will be what I'm using in my demonstration (https://bit.ly/33qenV0). The bottle MUST have a cork. - Clear glue. - Water - Food Dye (the color is your choice) - Hot Glue/Hot Glue Gun - Paint similar to the color of your food dye. - A label. - Paper and Pencil Students will be creating their own potion, so they may wish to add some of the following accessories based on their potion purpose: - Beads (optional) - Small, fake flowers or leaves (optional) - Glitter (optional) - Pearl Powder Pigment (optional)
