In this one-time class, we will create a large, standing Pikachu origami craft. We can do this using simple materials: scissors, tape, markers, and paper (construction paper or white paper and a yellow marker work well!). This will be an interactive class that includes step-by-step instructions by the teacher. I have two cameras available so that students can see me folding and creating while we're creating our project, as well as speaking during introductions and closing. This will allow learners to follow along with my live instructions. I break each step down, so crafters of all levels are welcome. Throughout the class, students will have the opportunity to share their creations with the class, but it will not be required. I give encouragement throughout the class, to build confidence in young artists. Material List: -2 pieces of yellow construction paper (origami paper or white paper and a yellow paper can also be used) -Black marker -Red Marker -Scissors -Tape -Optional: White Paper and Hole Punch
