Because kids learn and grow differently, this class is designed to meet the “middle aged” kids where they are at. Students will learn the principles of Pilates in a fun workout, paying extra attention to control and body awareness and positioning. Each class will focus on a subset of the principles of Pilates including awareness and proprioception, breathing, centering, control, precision, fluidity, balance, stability and flexibility. Participants will learn new exercises, refine old ones...
I have been studying and teaching Pilates for over 20 years and have presented mind-body workshops at conferences nationwide. I also ran my own instructor certification program, and train two competitive figure skaters. I make it fun and relaxing, but don't let that fool you - it’s still a great workout!
Towel, small throw pillow, water bottles or hand weights or soup cans - anything that weighs about a pound for each hand.

I want everyone to have a safe and effective class experience. To that end, going forward, I am requiring all students to have their cameras on themselves at all times throughout the class. I will put any student without a camera in the waiting room. If there is an actual technical difficulty and a parent/guardian informs me of the issue, I can make an exception for that day, This is for everyone’s safety and fairness.
