Spring is in the air! Let's learn how to talk about the parts of flowers and the growing process, but in French! As a class, we will use manipulatives provided by the teacher prior to class to create a diagram of a flower as it grows from a seed to a beautiful spring flower. In addition, we will learn about some of the most famous gardens to visit in France, like at the Palace of Versailles! We will also learn how to say some flower names in French in addition to colors. Bonjour! I am Madame Heather and I am a licensed French teacher for ages preK-12. I have 14 years teaching experience in the classroom and over 4 years teaching experience online. I have a BA in French, an MA in Sociolinguitics. I have lived in the south of France where I taught ESL. I am an engaging teacher who focuses first on making the student feel comfortable learning a new language in a natural way. I believe learning a language should be fun. I also like to use manipulatives to keep students moving during class. I look forward to helping your student expand their interest in francophone culture and language.
