Spanish for Kiddos – 1:1 Clases Privadas (Private Classes) ***To schedule this class, please reach out with a preferred start time and day that works best for you. ***Please note, there is no need to have any prior knowledge of Spanish for this class. Spanish for the Kiddos - 1:1 Clases Privadas (Private Classes) The goal of this One-Time class is to create a fun, interactive classroom environment where your child will be exposed and introduced to speaking and learning Spanish together with me. With my Private Class(es) you are in the ‘driver seat’, you can choose from any of the list of topics: • Learn mis Animales #1 • Learn mi Familia #1 • Learn mis Colores #1 • Learn Mis Números #1 • Learn mis Letras: A - M #1 • Learn mis Letras: N - Z #1 • Learn mis Animales #2 • Learn mi Familia #2 • Learn mis Colores #2 • Learn Mis Números #2 • Learn mis Letras: A - F #2 • Learn mis Letras: G - M #2 • Learn mis Letras: N - R #2 • Learn mis Letras: S - Z #2 • Let's Talk About Deportes/Sports • Greetings: Let’s talk! ¡Saludos y Conversación! • Food: Let’s eat! ¡Vamos a comer juntos! • The Home: Bienvenidos a casa • Feelings: ¿Cómo te sientes? • Review (Greetings, Food, The Home, Feelings) • Weather: What’s the weather like? ¿Cómo está el clima? • Clothes: Learn mi Ropa y Accesorios • Shopping: Let’s shop! ¡Vamos a Comprar! • Verbs: Useful verbs para hablar • Review (Weather, Clothes, Shopping, Verbs) With your child being the only one present, they will benefit from having individualized, personal help and guidance from me to practice key vocabulary, form and use short sentences. During class, we will use pictures, props, activities, illustrations and talk time all with the aim to encourage your child to have fun while at the same time learning Spanish! I look forward to having your child join me in my “Spanish for the Kiddos” series of classes that we can take together for your child to start their very own journey of learning Spanish. ¡Vámonos! Parents are encouraged (not required) to be present during the "review" portion of the class for their child to demonstrate the vocabulary they just learnt in class in Spanish.

¡Hola! Hello! My name is Le Schawn Ward from Canada, welcome parents and learners to my Outschool profile/bio.
Here on Outschool we are encouraged to teach what we are passionate about, not only IS Spanish one of my passions but also teaching and helping others is too.
Regardless of the subject, learning level or ability, my motto is: If you’re not having fun then you’re not learning! That is what you can expect for your child in ALL my classes, they will enjoy themselves while learning.
Helping others has always been something that brings me a lot of inner joy, so I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity on Outschool to combine my love for Spanish and with helping others to learn and to speak one of the most spoken and popular languages in the world!
Now let’s get down to the ‘nitty-gritty’. I have my bachelor's degree in Education, minoring in Language Education, hold both a TEFL and TESOL certification, have a background in theatre arts, TV and commercials and I am completely fluent speaking and writing Spanish. I also have extensive public speaking skills, having done so in front of crowds of over 3,000+ people!
Since 2002, I have been teaching children, youth and adults alike. In an online setting since 2018 I have been teaching children from ages 3-16 and to date have completed over 7,500 online classes totaling over 18,500 students! In my volunteer educational work, I have been teaching people of all different ages in Spanish since 2007.
Now that the ‘nitty-gritty is out of the way, I can’t wait to meet your child/children and let the fun begin!
