Students will learn how to paint “a perfect flower” in a fun, easy, and quick way. They will follow step by step instructions to make a flower like the one in the course profile picture. While painting the flower they will learn about mirroring, symmetry, lines, curves, and how to give the flower a natural look. The students’ goal is to paint a “perfect” flower with the step by step instructions given.
- Paint (acrylic) red, yellow, green, brown, and dark brown. - Paint brush - paint pad paper - a symmetrical leaf or two about 3.5”x2” in size (if you don’t have real leaves I’ll show you a quick way to make them with paper for this project) - a penny or dime - a cup or a rounded small bowl (for tracing) - Water (to clean/rinse) - paper towel (to wipe/ dry)
