課堂經歷
In this ongoing Disney themed dance class, students will be introduced to basic dance steps and terminology in a fun and safe, positive learning environment. We will use our creativity, personality, enthusiasm, and acting skills to dance like the Disney Characters! With my energetic and motivating teaching style, students will feel confident and excited to dance every class! Mrs. Danielle will create a new combination every class to a different song from our favorite Disney Movies while implementing steps we have learned. **This class is great as a brain break or as a good morning movement class** Here is a breakdown of what to expect: -Greeting/Introduction -Fun Stretching/warm up to our themed music for the day -Introduction to basic dance steps as well as correct body placement, musicality, and correct posture during steps. -Small dance combination to one of the songs from our movie of the day! -We will end each class with a fun locomotive freeze game! -Closing/Good Bye ✨**Feel free to dress up or accessorize like characters from our movie of the day!✨ **Please note: "characters" will not actually appear on camera, our movie each week will be strictly themed for our music for that class. **Feel free to join in for one class or stay for them all. Here is the breakdown of what movies we will dance to each week: February 8: Frozen 1 February 15: Frozen 2 March 1: Cars March 8: Olaf's Frozen Adventure March 15: Brave March 22: Princess and the Frog March 29: Tarzan April 5: The Lion King April 12: High School Musical April 19: Zombies April 26: Descendants May 3: Toy Story May 10: Mulan May 17: Tangled May 24: Hercules May 31: Shrek

Please provide a water bottle for your learner to keep hydrated during class. Please have students an open work space available to avoid the risk of any injury during the physical dance portion of our class.

Hey everyone!! My name is Mrs. Danielle :)
Teaching Certifications and Specialities:
I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in K-6 Elementary Education from the University of South Alabama. After graduation, I taught preschool and kindergarten for 5 years. I have a huge love for children and all kinds of learning!
I am also a trained dancer of over 25 years where I have studied multiple genres of dance. I have been teaching dance at a local studio for over 10 years to children ages 2-18 and LOVE all ages! I am highly qualified to teach ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hiphop, tumbling, as well as cheerleading. I am a trained All American Cheerleader and cheer choreographer.
I currently coach, choreograph, and mentor young students with aspirations of trying out/auditioning for dance/cheer programs at the high school and collegiate level. I have also choreographed for the talent portion of local and state pageants. I also currently coach tumbling, choreograph, and judge numerous tryouts for dance and cheerleading programs locally.
Teaching Style:
I believe ALL learning should be fun! I am very energetic, motivating, and absolutely love to teach! I believe all students can do absolutely anything if they set their mind to it. I will ensure all students are comfortable and are understanding all material with constant student check ins. I enjoy working students to their highest potential and letting them know anything is possible! I love building confidence in students no matter what they are learning and I always try to make all students feel special!
Hobbies:
Of course dancing :) I also love traveling, cooking, boating, and spending time with family and friends. I also love ALL things Disney!
