This single-meeting course is designed to help students increase fluency with multiplication factors 2-12. This is geared toward students who have learned the process of multiplication and are working on recalling multiplication facts. I'll have the student match arrays with equations on one slide in the beginning of class only as a brief review. The rest of class time will be spent solving equations and word problems. The student will be asked to fill in missing values on a multiplication...
This class will: -Help students memorize/practice multiplication factors 2-12 -Allow students to practice multiplication word problems (some may also include addition or subtraction).
I have a patient teaching approach and strongly believe in specific verbal praise and positive correction. I hope to build students' confidence and inspire them to learn. As a teacher, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a child engage and progress in their learning!
Students may want to have a paper and pencil handy. Students are more than welcome to take note of those hard-to-remember multiplication facts to help memorize them!
