In this ongoing origami club, students will learn how to create a collection of traditional Japanese projects for beginners. I hope that this will spark a life-long interest in the ancient, elegant art of origami. I learned origami at the young age and have been actively practicing origami ever since then. I also have experience with teaching children origami for over 5 years.
Plain Origami paper, with no patterns, is recommended. You'll need extra pre-cut pieces (about 5) of origami paper for each class incase you need to start over. I fold using 6" x 6" (15cm x 15cm) origami paper. If you don't have origami paper, I can show them how to fold and cut printer paper to become a large square. *Markers *Tape *Glue Stick or liquid Glue Week of : Cup Week of : Simple Knife *two 8.5 x 11 printer paper. different color would look great, but optional *tape Week of: Finger Trap * will only need 6 x 6 origami paper Week of: Sun Glasses *8.5 x 11 printer paper Week of: Snapper Puppet *8.5 x 11 printer paper *black marker
