This 2-day class is a sequel based on my first murder mystery class. However, students DO NOT need to take the first class BEFORE taking this one. These classes can be taken in any order. This class is meant to test students' inferencing skills to “read between the lines” as well as their attention to detail as they try and solve a murder mystery! I taught this lesson many times to my students in school and they loved it! This class is geared toward teaching inferencing skills. Making inferences is a very important step toward full comprehension and deeper thinking about texts. This activity is a fun way to sharpen those skills!
