This ongoing class features a new song or fingerplay each week. Come learn along as we sing, move and play together! This class is designed with little learners in mind, it features a variety of interactive songs and movement activities to ignite a love of learning and build confidence. Each session, students will learn a new song (rhyme, finger play or nursery rhyme) with accompanying movements. Students will develop group time skills such as turn-taking, questioning and answering, and focusing attention. Students will be able to sing along and participate in a group activity or game. Students will be able to share ideas and express themselves creatively. Students will participate in phonemic awareness activities such as beginning letter sounds, rhyming words/sounds, and syllables. Students will participate in early math skill activities such as counting, number recognition and simple addition/subtraction.
