Designed for beginners, this course uses block-based coding tools like MakeCode to teach essential programming concepts in a fun and interactive way. Students will: - Build foundational coding skills, including loops, conditionals, and events. - Automate tasks, design unique worlds, and create custom mini-games. - Solve challenges and debug code in real-time to develop critical thinking skills. - Collaborate with classmates on fun, creative coding projects. Each week, your child will complete exciting, hands-on projects within Minecraft that they can proudly share with friends and family. By the end of the course, students will have a solid understanding of coding fundamentals and the confidence to apply their new skills creatively. • Students will dive into event-driven programming by creating interactive triggers that respond to player actions.
• The class will explore how Redstone mechanics can complement modern coding approaches to create sophisticated interactions.
