Hello, and welcome to the Minecraft Builders Club. In this ongoing class we will be joining together on my Realm that I have created to best be able to all play together. We play on Bedrock edition which is accessible from PC, Tablet, Phone, Xbox, Wii Switch and Play Station.  

A reminder that gamertags will be shared in this class, however there is a strict no sharing policy among students and parents. As well do not put gamertags in the chat, please send me a message directly with the username or in the zoom call you may privately message me with their gamertag. 

We can either play on the Creative world and show off our incredible building skills or compete in a weekly building contest against the other students in the class. Or we can play on the Survival Realm where we work together as a team to build a base, fight off monsters and slowly but surely get better equipment until we can take on the Ender Dragon together. 

How is your class structured? 
In the class we meet up and sign into the Realm. From there we go to either our survival world or our creative world. I like to have my classes a bit looser and free, especially with Minecraft. I love when I take a step back and let the children work together to build massive spiders (yes there is one in the creative world), or plan an expedition into the Nether together. Students are also encouraged to ask questions throughout if they are struggling with something Minecraft related. As well I like to do ice breakers, group activities like tag, hide and seek, PVP, build contests to keep things fun for them. In the realm itself we have several games to play. Hide and seek, tag, maze, parkour, Spleef, PVP, Bedwars. 

We have 3 rules while being in the Realms
1. Have Fun
2. Don't steal or destroy anybody's stuff or their builds
3. Be respectful of each other

Do onto others as you would do onto yourself. If you don't want someone to steal from your chest, don't do it to others. 

If possible, please send me your gamertag when you sign up for the class so that I can add you to the realm ahead of time and not during class time so that you can enjoy more time to play. 

Learners should have a base understanding of how to join another player's world. It takes away from others if I have to spend a lot of class time in the beginning to get others signed into the world. Please make sure you are registered for the correct version of Minecraft (bedrock) and it is fully updated. Then make sure that you know how to accept a friend request or how to join a realm. 

If a learner joins the class and is unable to play due to lack of knowledge on how to accept requests or join a game no refund will be issued. Please don't hesitate to message me before the class time if you need any help setting up your account. I am happy to help answer any questions about set up BEFORE class time. No previous experience is required but you will need to have Online mode activated on whatever you device you are playing (Xbox, PC, Wii Switch, PS, Tablet, Phone)
