👨👩👧👦 Parental Guidance for Fortnite Gaming Club 🎮
This class involves playing Fortnite, a popular online multiplayer game rated T for Teen (ESRB) due to mild violence and in-game purchases.
While Fortnite is widely enjoyed by players of all ages, parents should be aware of the following:
🚨 Online Interaction – Students will play in a private, teacher-monitored lobby but may encounter online interactions if they play outside of class.
🚨 Violence in Gameplay – The game involves cartoon-style combat with weapons, eliminations, and battle scenarios.
🚨 In-Game Purchases – Fortnite offers optional cosmetic purchases (skins, emotes, battle passes) that are not required for participation.
🚨 Safe & Respectful Environment – The teacher will promote positive sportsmanship, teamwork, and respectful communication during sessions.
🚨 Voice Chat & Communication – Students are encouraged (but not required) to use a microphone for team-based strategies; however, chat must remain friendly and appropriate at all times.
