課堂經歷
Students will learn what mind mapping is, why it works, and how to use it to improve their learning and memory. During each class we will read an educational article geared towards children. We will create a mind map as a group based on what we have learned from the article. Students will use colors, drawings, and words to make their version of the mind map unique to them. Students are encouraged to post their mind maps in the classroom after the lesson. For homework students will choose from a number of educational videos to watch. They will create their own mind map for homework.

Taking psychology completely changed my own approach to learning, and I was 19 years old when I took my first psychology class! I want to help children strengthen their brain so they don't have to wait so long to learn the best way to learn. I studied Child and Youth Studies at University, and took every psychology elective that I could fit in my schedule.
