In this 60-minute 1 on 1 tutoring, there will be no formal class lessons. Students will receive help with their science homework and any quizzes or tests they may have coming up. Subjects that can be covered are as follows: -the periodic table, chemical reactions, motion, temperature, magnetism -matter, thermal energy transfer, chemical reactions, Earth's natural resources, Earth's cycling of matter and energy, plate tectonics, ecosystems, biodiversity, and engineering -Solar system -Biology(Diversity of Life, Genetics, the Human Body and Ecology) Students will be responsible for bringing their homework to the class lesson. Students with ADHD, autism, and dyslexia will find solace in these tutoring sessions as sessions can be tailored to fit the needs of neurodivergent students as well.

I am currently working on my BA in middle school science after switching from a BA in psychology. I have a certificate from Rice University in Anatomy & Physiology: Levels of Organization. I taught in brick-and-mortar from 2016-2020 middle school science, as well as homeschooling for the last 10 years (middle school science, biology, anatomy & physiology, and science honors/AP courses). I also have worked as a para-shadow in public schools, in special needs classrooms, and as a private tutor with neurodivergent students. My own 4 children (ages 4-23) are neurodivergent (ADHD and autistic) and 2 have dyslexia, as well as myself having ADHD and dyslexia. 評論
