課堂經歷
In the first part of the class students will practice their listening and presenting skills by sharing their favorite Beanie Boos or Flippables. We will start with introductions. I will ask them their name and their favorite animal. Each student will then present one at a time with the class by sharing the name of their Beanie Boo or Flippable and may share other fun facts. If they would not like to share they are welcome to just listen and learn. In the second part of the class students will learn how to draw a super fun Beanie Boo step by step with the teacher’s guidance. The goals for the class are that each student gain s confidence in presenting, shows respect to others, strengthens their listening skills and creates their own Beanie Boo masterpiece drawing.

Please bring your favorite Beanie Boos and Flippables to class. Colored Pencils, Crayons, Markers- your choice any and all. Blank paper to be used for the Beanie Boo drawing.

Hi! My name is Aimmi Straight. I am excited to teach a variety of classes at Outschool including Biology topics: Animal Habitats- Aquatic and Terrestrial, North American Snake Identification, Equine and Canine topics, and let's not leave out Stuffed Animal Collections too!
I have a Bachelors of Science Degree majoring in Biology and hold a Masters Degree in Business. I am currently a substitute K-12 teacher for a school district in North Florida. In addition, I'm also a Reading, Phonics, Vocabulary and Math tutor for children grades K-4 using an online platform.
I truly love to teach. It is the best job in the world. When I see a student's face light up it is all worth it to me. I encourage children to have fun and keep learning new topics!
When I am not in the classroom you will find me doing many outdoor activities. Such as running with my dogs, riding my horse or taking bike rides with my husband and daughter. Also I enjoy spending family time at the beach playing in the waves and collecting spectacular seashells.
