🌟 Welcome, Mathletes! 🌟 Are you seeking a math assessment to gauge your learner's understanding? Join us as we introduce the ADAM mathematics assessment! Your learner will learn to access and complete the assessment within one week. Within 7 days of completion, I'll provide an educational plan outlining their math understanding, including skills they're ready to learn and areas needing improvement. This assessment covers key math concepts such as operations, fractions, base ten, measurement, and geometry. It's an excellent tool for homeschoolers and traditional schoolers alike to pinpoint areas for improvement and guide math instruction. I'm excited to meet your learner and embark on this math journey together! 🚀 Timeline: 📅 Week 1: Assessment Period 📝 Learner completes assessment within 3 weeks. 📧 Notify Mrs. Laczynski upon completion. 📅 Week 2: Report and Review 📊 Teacher report and video review posted 7 days after assessment completion. Teacher Generated Report Features: 📓 Concise learner-level description 📓 Mastered skills & enrichment ideas 📓 Current focus skills with practice suggestions 📓 Foundational skills requiring attention 📓 Intervention ideas for foundational skills FAQs: 🤔 Do I have to take the assessment in one sitting? No, you can pause and resume as needed. ⏱️ How long does the assessment take? It varies (1-2 hours) based on your learner's level, as it adapts to gauge understanding in 5 math strands. The assessment is untimed. 📚 What topics does it assess? Numbers, Operations, Algebra, Geometry, Data Analysis, and Measurement. 🎓 What grade is it designed for? Kindergarten through 7th Grade. 🔄 Can my learner retake it? Yes, as many times as needed. Yearly benchmarks track growth by comparing data across tests. 🌟What is ADAM? "ADAM is a K-7 comprehensive, diagnostic assessment of mathematics. It is aligned with NCTM’s (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics) five content strands. ADAM K-7 thoroughly assesses a student’s complete mathematical understanding to provide a comprehensive picture of his or her strengths and weaknesses. In addition, ADAM K-7 uses revolutionary adaptive logic to maximize the amount of information obtained on each student while minimizing test-taking time and anxiety."🌟
