This tutoring session will be personalized to meet the needs of your child. The focus will be understanding place value, number sense, adding/subtracting, using mental and manipulatives to solve problems, and composing/decomposing numbers. Repeated addition lends to learning multiplication and story math problems. This class will be student-centered, allowing students to share their strategies. Students will not need any prior experience. If you do not see a class listed and the time you need, please contact me, and we will schedule one to accommodate your needs.

Hello, my students call me Mrs. Tammy. I have been in education for twenty-two years and specifically taught elementary students K-6. I love teaching and making a difference in children's lives. I am trained in the Science of Reading for my state and have many certifications. I also design and develop curriculum. I am a National Board Certified Teacher. I understand the standards I teach and what students need to know to succeed. I have taught ESL online and private tutoring for about five years.
