After assessing your child, I will work with them to reach grade level proficiency or above using the Common Core Standards. I will create a tailored program that includes a variety of engaging activities, worksheets, games, and hands-on projects. Students will improve their math skills with multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, fractions, measurement, time, and all other math topics that are taught per grade level and meet the standards that are expected for their specific grade. Students will be working through the problems and they will have the opportunity to discuss their answers and problem-solve with the teacher 1-1.
Below is a tentative schedule which can change based on student needs as determined by assessments after each unit is completed:
Week 1 Assessments
Weeks 2-4 Computation
Weeks 5-8 Fractions and Decimals
Weeks 9-12 Measurement, Data and PreAlgebra.
